Scholarship Program Purpose
In keeping with its charge to “foster the growth and development of the parking industry and parking professionals,” the Northwest Parking Association offers scholarship support for a variety of professional development activities.
Scholarship Categories
Scholarship Committee
The Scholarship Committee reviews applications for completeness, eligibility, and support of the scholarships’ intended purposes. The committee also makes recommendations to the Board regarding the award of scholarships and coordinates any ancillary activities required for the administration of the scholarship program.
Scholarship Sponsorships
Most scholarships are supported through the generosity of the NWPA membership. However, opportunities exist for affiliate members, allied associations, and suppliers to the trade to support the program. When scholarships are directly supported by a sponsor, applicants shall be advised that their scholarship is provided by the NWPA “with the generous support of [sponsor name].” Sponsorship opportunities range from $50 to $1000. If your organization is interested in sponsoring one or more scholarships, please contact the Scholarship Committee Chair at Treasurer.
